Job description

Job Position Summary: Responsible for developing customer demand profiles and ensuring they are updated, communicated and accurate at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent,
  • 7+ years in Manufacturing environment
  • 3+ year in Production coordinator or customer facing role
  • Experience working in the aerospace industry including quality systems (AS9100) and compliance expectations (ITAR) preferred.
  • Proficient in planning and scheduling experience
  • Ability to identify and solve problems as they arise.
  • Ability to create action plans with timelines
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Ability to manage projects and get them done in a timely manner.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
  • Proficient Computer Skills including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with engaging customers and building Relationships.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required.
  • Review LT and submit updates to customer (internal & External) and update manufacturing LTโ€™s corresponding to ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with department managers on production schedule and customer request to understand requirements, objectives, and milestones.
  • Identify and assess risks, issues, and conflicts that may impact the customer needs.
  • Monitor progress and identify any deviations from the schedule, taking proactive measures to address delays or other issues.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports that communicate key metrics, and performance indicators to management.
  • Continuously improve Customer demand management processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide monthly Capacity profiles of all requirements to necessary departments.
  • Ownership of customer schedule (Push Outs & Pull Ins etc.)
  • Responsible for the Rolling 3-month review and monthly communication, ensuring a full review of the backlog and communication of any major changes.
  • Maintain 606 Account levels to ensure that 606 balance meet business targets and do not exceed.
  • Need to ensure all appeal and adjustment are incorporated in customer portals to ensure accuracy of supplier rating is captured and reflective of true performance.
  • Complete understanding of contractual OTD customer obligations to develop action plans for mitigating any assertions liability. Including calculations of liability, tracking of action plans and validation or dispute of any assertions notifications to include reimbursement of invalidated notifications.
  • Full understanding of ASC606 accounting compliance obligations & Responsible for 606 Account levels to ensure that 606 balance meets business targets and does not exceed.
  • Develop mitigation plans for identified risks & track timely closure of actions across internal and external action owners.
  • Complete understanding and management of contractual rights and obligations internally and externally, ensure that due diligence is practiced in complying with stated terms and conditions.
  • Recommend solutions for product status, delays, or identified manufacturing/supply chain bottlenecks.
  • Complete understanding of contractual Pull In/Push Out customer obligations and develop action plans for gap closure. Including calculations of customer liability, submission of amounts owed and ensuring timely closure of payments.
  • Monitor and ensure full compliance with DPAS rating priorities are met.
  • Develops, maintains, and delivers programmatic analytical outputs, including reproducible reports, analytical datasets, figures, and written summaries, to support stakeholder decision-making.
  • Performs comprehensive quality assurance, ensuring that data and reports meet end user specifications and are accurate and reliable.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.
  • May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses.
  • May have to lift up to thirty (20) pounds at a time, as required.
  • Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.
