Position: Armed Transportation Officer
Position Summary
Asset Protection & Security Services is seeking qualified and professional Armed Transportation Officers to support federal detention and transportation operations. Officers will be responsible for the secure transportation, guarding, supervision, and escort of detainees while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be a United States Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
  • Must possess a valid Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
  • Must be in good overall physical condition and capable of performing the duties of the position.
  • Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are preferred.
  • Prior federal clearance or experience working on federal contracts is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid BSIS Guard Card and BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit (9mm qualification preferred).

Experience Requirements
Applicants must have:
  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience as a Law Enforcement Officer, Military Police Officer, or Security Officer performing duties related to the custody, control, detention, or transportation of civil or administrative detainees; and
  • At least one (1) year of general work experience demonstrating the ability to:
    • Interact professionally and tactfully with the public.
    • Understand and apply written and verbal instructions, policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Read, interpret, and follow detailed written orders, training materials, and operational directives.
    • Remain calm and exercise sound judgment during stressful situations, including emergencies, disturbances, evacuations, and critical incidents.
