We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join a specialized production team focused on custom drapery and window treatments. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precise craftsmanship and has experience working with a variety of fabrics to create high-quality curtains, drapes, and other interior window coverings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced workroom environment where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are essential to producing finished products that meet exact specifications and design standards.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:30 pm, plus overtime and occasional Saturdays

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Seamstress with strong skills in drapery and window treatment fabrication to join a high-quality interiors production team. This role focuses on crafting custom curtains, drapes, shades, and other fabric-based window coverings for residential and commercial projects. Precision, consistency, and pride in craftsmanship are essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, sew, and assemble custom drapery and window treatment products
  • Construct panels, linings, headers (pleats, grommets, rod pockets, etc.), and finishes
  • Operate industrial sewing machines and specialty equipment
  • Read work orders, patterns, and fabrication instructions accurately
  • Ensure all finished products meet quality, design, and sizing specifications
  • Perform quality control checks throughout production
  • Work collaboratively with production staff to meet deadlines and project timelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in drapery, curtain making, or window treatment fabrication strongly preferred
  • Proficient in industrial sewing techniques and equipment
  • Strong understanding of fabric types, pattern layout, and seam finishes
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with precision
  • Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
