What is a Commission Custom Drapery Workroom?

A Commission Custom Drapery Workroom is a specialized facility or business that fabricates custom window treatments, such as drapes, curtains, valances, and shades, based on designers’ or clients’ specifications. These workrooms do not usually sell directly to the public; instead, they collaborate with interior designers, decorators, or retailers, producing bespoke drapery for residential or commercial projects. The 'commission' aspect means that the workroom is hired for specific projects, creating unique pieces tailored to individual client needs, styles, and measurements.
