Join our dynamic team as a Window Treatment Design Consultant, where you will inspire clients with innovative window covering solutions that elevate their spaces. As a key member of our retail environment, you’ll guide customers through the entire design process, from initial consultation to installation, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.   • Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences for window treatments, including blinds, shades, drapes, and custom solutions
  • Provide expert advice on product selection, layout design, lighting considerations, and renovation or remodeling projects
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help clients make informed purchasing decisions
  • Manage account relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and follow-up to ensure repeat business and referrals
  • Represent the brand with professionalism and expertise

  • Proven experience in outside sales, inside sales, or high-end retail sales with a focus on interior design or remodeling projects
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with organizational abilities for managing multiple client accounts
  • Exceptional communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
  • Ability to demonstrate products confidently while upselling additional services or upgrades
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution
  • Prior Sales experience in the Window Coverings industry is preferred but not required
  • Self-directed/able to work independently and work as a valuable team player
  • Friendly, courteous, pleasant
  • Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the industry
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent telephone, written, and verbal communication skills- These are critical when interfacing with all levels of Budget Blinds staff and clients.

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and can climb up and down high ladders
  • Ability to measure to a 1/16th of an inch
