Job description

Job Requirements
Starting Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly
The Seamstress Tailor ensures Team Members are outfitted with clean, properly fitted, and well-maintained uniforms by providing alterations, repairs, fittings, and wardrobe support while maintaining inventory and records.
Day/Swing Shift Available:
Thursday - Sunday
10:00am - 6:00pm
What does a Seamstress Tailor do?
  • Perform uniform fittings, alterations, and repairs, including hemming, mending, and replacing zippers and buttons.
  • Measure and prepare uniforms for new Team Members prior to their start dates.
  • Ensure uniforms are properly fitted and maintained to support a professional appearance.
  • Monitor wardrobe inventory and notify the Manager of supply and material needs.
  • Maintain accurate wardrobe, sewing, shift communication, and borrowed item records.
  • Conduct quarterly inventories of wardrobe materials and supplies.

To be successful as a Seamstress Tailor you'll need:
  • Previous commercial or industrial sewing experience, or equivalent seamstress training, required.
  • Proficiency in operating sewing machines and related equipment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of fabrics and the ability to create or alter garments with or without patterns.
  • Ability to accurately distinguish colors.
  • Ability to take precise measurements.
