Job description

Full and Part time Experienced Tailor position available. We are also hiring for our Reno location as well.

Requirements: MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE WITH EXCEPTIONAL SKILL. EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS ONLY!

  • Sew buttons, remove and resew ornamentation
  • Hem pants, dresses, men's dress shirts, skirts, shorts, and all other garments.
  • Repair minor and major rips and tears using patching methods
  • Replace zippers in pants, jackets, and bags
  • Let out and take in the waist in all garments
  • Let out and take in suit jackets and pants
  • Assist in all aspects of garment construction, including fittings, alterations, cutting, sewing, and finishing.
  • Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to practice time management and complete a minimum of 10-15 alterations per day, with fittings throughout the day.
  • Must be experienced using industrial sewing machines.
  • Must be able to complete alteration requests with complete accuracy.
  • Must be able to be creative and very skilled to accommodate customers' unique requests.
