East Noble School Corporation is accepting applications for the following vacancy:  North Side Elementary School Principal

Requirements:


  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Current knowledge of school improvement planning and characteristics of effective school operations.
  • Superior organizational ability; planning and managing responsibilities effectively.
  • Superior interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and lead others.
  • Experience with relevant use of technology.
  • Demonstrated past leadership and achievement.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and establish priorities for action in conjunction with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in an atmosphere of multiple and conflicting demands
  • Possesses expertise in the Science of Reading

Essential Functions:

  • Provides leadership to the school community in developing and focusing on a shared vision, mission, goals, and continuous school improvement planning consistent with the Corporation vision and goals.
  • Provides leadership to the staff in the ongoing process of evaluating the effectiveness and directing the improvement of educational programming.
  • Supervises and evaluates all faculty and staff assigned to the building and effectively addresses all performance issues in a manner consistent with Corporation policy and practice.
  • Provides leadership for the creation and maintenance of a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment for all students and staff.
  • Interviews and hires all staff assigned to the building.
  • Promotes strong relationships with student families and care-givers that engage them in their child's education and school events.
  • Monitors a school budget consistent with collaboratively identified building goals and improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous learning through professional development and active collaboration with colleagues.
  • Provides leadership in the analysis of current programs and student achievement results and the integration of this analysis into curriculum development activities aligned with Corporation goals. 

Qualifications:           

  • Valid Indiana Building Level Administrator License
  • A Master's degree in education, educational administration or a related area from an accredited college or university.
  • Previous administrative/supervisory experience preferred.
