Job description

Primary Function:

A Training Managerdesigns, implements, collaborates and oversees employees on the training team to assist and boost skills and performance on all programs, including conduct performance assessments, time sheet approvals, budget management, and evaluating program effectiveness, often collaborating with Training Lead Engineer, Senior Manager and other Executive Leadership to align with company goals and vision.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Write, review, and edit documents to communicate complex technical material into readable and clear manner for use in training documentation.
  2. Review technical documentation in support of Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS), Naval Air Training and Information Program (NATIP), Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) and aircraft test procedures for use in training documentation.
  3. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  4. Experience managing budgets and resources.
  5. Ability to collaborate with all levels of staff and leadership.
  6. Ability to manage complex tasks from inception to end.
  7. Good time management and organizational skills.
  8. Work closely with engineering and technical personnel to develop documentation and training material throughout the developmental stages of various projects.
  9. Work as a member of a team to ensure the goals of the project are met in a timely manner.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Conditions:

Office environment with occasional travel required for site visits or customer meetings.
