Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE),Wellbeing and Support Services, is seeking qualified individuals to apply for the position of Program Coordinator The Program Coordinator in the Wellbeing and Support Services Division leads centralized coordination of the LACOE Fee Schedule Billing Consortium and the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiatives (CYBHI) Fee Schedule implementation

Responsibilities include recruiting consortium participants, coordinating training and technical assistance, managing communications, and tracking participation and deliverables. The position also supervises a team and oversees day-to-day operations to ensure stable implementation and sustained support across internal teams and external partners. The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following Knowledge: Applicable sections of the California Education Code, California Code of Regulations, and policies, rules and regulations of the Los Angeles County Office of Education, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) Relevant guidelines and best practices pertaining to the coordination of educational programs Strength-based approaches Training, program development, group facilitation, and consultation Public and private funding sources, funding acquisition procedures, fees schedules, and expenditure regulations Effective management and administrative techniques regarding program planning, budgeting, and implementation Program assessment, design, and evaluation procedures Fundamental concepts of employment laws, codes, and regulations, including EEO, FLSA, FMLA, and Cal/OSHA and Operations of applicable computer hardware and software Competencies: Analyzing & Interpreting Data - Drawing meaning and conclusions from quantitative and/or qualitative data Decision Making - Choosing optimal courses of action in a timely manner Legal & Regulatory Navigation - Understanding, interpreting, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations Professional & Technical Expertise - Applying technical subject matter to the job Action & Results Focus - Initiating tasks and focusing on accomplishment Innovation - Imagining and devising new and better ways of doing things Professional Integrity & Ethics - Maintaining trust through honesty, adherence to principles, and personal accountability Oral Communication - Engaging effectively in dialogue Writing - Communicating effectively in writing Customer Focus - Attending to the needs and expectation of customers Relationship Building - Establishing rapport and maintaining mutually productive relationships Managing Performance - Ensuring superior individual and group performance Allocating Resources - Prioritizing the use of fiscal and material resources to maximize organizational performance Leveraging Technology - Applying technology for improvements in organizational efficiency and effectiveness Project Management - Planning and tracking projects to ensure they are on-time, on-budget, and achieve their objectives Cultural Proficiency - Modeling communications and interactions that respect and include all individuals and their languages, abilities, religions, and cultures Required Education and Experience Education: A bachelor's degree with upper level coursework in education, behavioral science, social work, business, public administration or a field closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning accredited by a regional accrediting organization recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation.

Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Experience: Five years of experience in program development and administration in the field of education or social and community services. Additional Requirements: A valid California driver's license, proof of insurability, and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required.

Selection and promotion are based on a competitive examination process. Candidates who pass all exam parts are ranked according to overall exam score and placed on an eligibility (hiring) list. Vacant positions are filled from the top three ranks.

Eligibility lasts for 12 months; however, additional recruitment may occur under a separate bulletin with additional candidates being merged onto the eligibility list. Some positions that involve public contact may require bilingual proficiency for which selective certification may apply (Education Code 45277.5).
