TheCulinary Coordinator plays a vital role in Snooze's continued growth andculinary innovation by supporting the day-to-day operation of El Jefe's TestKitchen and the development, documentation, and rollout of food and beverageprograms. This role keeps the test kitchen organized, stocked, safe, clean, andready for trainings, tastings, photoshoots, and menu development. The CulinaryCoordinator translates culinary work into accurate, accessible tools andresources for restaurant teams, including recipes, food-safety materials,allergen information, labels, and visual guides. Working across Culinary,Training, Operations, vendors, and Guest Relations, this role helps ensure newand optimized menu items are supported from development through restaurantexecution. The right person brings strong kitchen operations judgment,exceptional organization, and a hands-on approach to getting the details right.

The PositionSpecifics
Taking on the role of Culinary Coordinator isn'tjust about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

"El Jefe's" Test Kitchen Operations

  • Manage the daily operation and organization ofEl Jefe's Test Kitchen, maintaining high standards for food safety, sanitation,cleanliness, and brand presentation.
  • Order ingredients, supplies, and equipmentneeds; coordinate restaurant and vendor pickups; receive shipments; tracksamples; and maintain appropriate inventory levels for both daily operationsand individual projects.
  • Complete and coordinate daily, end-of-day, anddeep-cleaning needs, including dishes, floors, equipment, tables, countertops,and trash.
  • Coordinate product donations and schedulepreventive maintenance for culinary equipment.
  • Ensure Culinary Center practices reflect SnoozeCompass values, including applicable sustainability practices.

CulinaryDocumentation & Recipe Management

  • Edit, update, and publish culinary doctrines,prep recipes, dish-composition recipes, and related training materials inPowerPoint and approved restaurant-facing platforms.
  • Maintain accurate recipe content, recipephotography, mise en place images, and other visual resources for Heart ofHouse recipe books and Mitti.
  • Support recipe translation and the developmentof accessible materials that help Snoozers use job-required culinary content.
  • Maintain shelf labels and the menu allergenguide as recipes and menu items change.

MenuRollout Tools and Restaurant Support

  • Create and maintain tools for new menus andrecipe optimizations, including HACCP cooling logs, Heart of House tools, C2Oresources, Prep N Print data, food labels, and Snoozer knowledge check-inquizzes.
  • Build pickup and prep lists for culinarytrainings, tastings, photoshoots, and other food and beverage projects.
  • Support new menu rollouts by preparing accurateresources and visual execution guides for restaurant teams.
  • Partner with the Guest Relations team torespond to Guest inquiries regarding allergens, ingredients, and proprietaryrecipes.

ProjectCoordination & Cross Functional Partnership

  • Coordinate culinary projects and deliverablesacross multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines.
  • Partner with Culinary, Training, Operations,Marketing, Guest Relations, vendors, and restaurant teams to keep informationaccurate and execution ready.
  • Communicate updates clearly and follow throughon project details from development through publication and rollout.

The base salary range above represents the lowand high end of the Snooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries willvary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including butnot limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system,quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/ornecessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze's totalcompensation package for employees.
