WHAT YOUR ROLE INVOLVES

  • Assist cooks in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to established standards
  • Participate in the mise en place and organization of workstations
  • Support the brigade during service, particularly during peak periods
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards (MAPAQ)
  • Maintain the cleanliness of equipment, utensils and work areas
  • Collaborate closely with all members of the kitchen team
  • Perform any other related tasks contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • DEP in culinary arts or equivalent training (asset)
  • Experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment (asset)
  • Knowledge of MAPAQ standards
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, autonomy and team spirit
  • Speed of execution and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interest in the culinary field
