ARAMARK is looking for Cooks – Manic-5

Aramark offers a 14/14 work rotation.

Employees are provided with meals, single-occupancy lodging, and access to laundry facilities (washer/dryer provided).

Aramark also offers a transportation allowance and highly competitive group insurance benefits.

Position: 1st and 3rd Cook
Location: Manic-5
Salary: Between $20.20 and $23.92, depending on the position held

Job Responsibilities
  • Cook and prepare various foods by following production guidelines and standardized recipes.
  • Prepare the daily menu.
  • Manage kitchen activities (staff, inventory, placing orders as needed).
  • Be able to respond to operational needs.
  • Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude with guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
  • Ensure high quality of food services and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Qualifications
  • A culinary diploma or equivalent experience is an asset.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.
  • Strong culinary foundation is an asset.
  • Experience in remote camp operations is an asset.
  • MAPAQ certification (asset).
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs.
  • Adhere to established safety regulations.
