This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate that has experience in various commercial, office, retail, data center locations, OSP underground and aerial deployment experience with ISP, network and structured cabling experience. Job Responsibilities Provide customer service and support during field visits, inspections, site surveys and tie workflow to schedules to ensure maximum efficiency. Manage all OSP/ISP design packages and Fiber build-out installations. (Client Site Travel) Monitor projects to meet/exceed company specifications to Construction Policy, FCC Technical Standards, NEC, OSHA, State, County and/or City, and all other applicable agencies. Build relationships with internal teams and external partners, vendors and suppliers. Manage requested quotes to our vendors, service providers, supplier partners. Generate formal Scope of Work documentation, Bill of Materials, Labor Rates and Estimates. Attend on-site and virtual pre-bid meetings to gather requirements for effective and timely bidding. Ability to travel to customer premise locations and attend site surveys. Knowledge of Underground Fiber routing, Buried environments, Aerial Fiber, Fiber Splicing, Backbone networks and tie-in locations. Work with internal leadership to execute ROE/ROW agreements on-site. Manage ROW, ROE, 811, Local/State/County Requirements. Knowledge of Cisco, Ciena, Juniper equipment Experience with Optical equipment SONET and wavelength division multiplexing. Experience and working knowledge with reading and interpreting network design and fiber documentation, as-built documentation, Must have knowledge of LAN, WAN, MAN, Optical Carrier Network Architecture, TCP/IP, SNMP, (ISP) Inside Plant, Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Optic experience including but not limited to, OTDR, Fusion Splicing, Fiber locating, Transmission, Routing, Switching, Data Center Cross-Connection completion, and testing. Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organization to build positive relationships with clients and coworkers. OSP/ISP candidates should have technical experience and knowledge of identifying and locating fiber optic cables, building MPOE, Data Center Meet Me Rooms, all structured cabling, including demarcation extensions and cross-connections, racking, and stacking, installing, testing, and turning up Telecommunication equipment. Experience in OSP Telecommunications Infrastructure construction, fiber construction and utility construction. Competence in design methodology, process, and metrics Proficient with effective navigation of Microsoft Office applications and CAD, and system maps. Proficient in time and project management and experience meeting and exceeding metrics to keep projects on-time and within budget. Collaborates with systems engineering and network services NOC to restore service and identify problems. Service existing accounts by analyzing work orders, planning a travel schedule, reviewing concerns, conducting tests, and resolving problems. Job Skills & Qualifications Required Technical degree, certification, and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. High-level ability to test, troubleshoot, service, and repair automated equipment. Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and flexible shifts. Superb customer service, communication and self-management skills Must have a valid driver’s license without any restrictions and a satisfactory driving record. Must be able to lift 50lbs or more. Must be willing to Travel to clients’ locations for the assigned geographic region they will be assigned to Must be 18 years of age or older, a US citizen and be able to show proof of citizenship.
