Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Support Technician in Telecommunications.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide first-level support to end users for telecommunications and related IT issues via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems related to voice, data, and video communication systems.
  • Document, track, and monitor issues using a ticketing system to ensure timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or vendors as needed.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications hardware and software.
  • Maintain accurate records of support activities, system configurations, and user interactions.
  • Collaborate with network and systems teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of telecom systems.
  • Provide support for VoIP systems, mobile devices, conferencing tools, and other communication platforms.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to plan and deliver technical solutions independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
