Job description

Join a firm built on stewardship, trust, and 100+ years of financial excellence.

At Trust Point Inc., your work shapes legacies. As a Wealth Strategist on our Family Office team, you become a trusted partner to individuals, families, and privately held businesses seeking thoughtful, long-view financial guidance. You won't be selling - you'll be advising, designing strategy, and guiding clients through complex decisions that matter. Recognized as a "Best Place to Work" for the 9th year in a row by Business Intelligence Group and a Gold Certified Family Friendly Workplace, Trust Point Inc. of Minneapolis is adding a Wealth Strategist to our Family Office division.

Why This Role Matters

You will sit at the center of client relationships, helping clients navigate wealth transitions, estate planning, tax strategies, investment conversations, and multi-generational planning. Your insights will directly influence family futures - and you'll do this within a culture grounded in professionalism, collaboration, and genuine care.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary relationship manager for affluent families and businesses
  • Lead client communication, investment reviews, and planning conversations
  • Develop customized wealth strategies integrating estate, tax, and investment insights
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and internal teams (investments, trust, tax, operations)
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and uphold fiduciary excellence
  • Resolve account issues proactively with professionalism and attention to detail

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's in Business, Accounting, Finance (or related) preferred
  • 5+ years in a financial, trust, or advisory environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and client-service ability
  • Experience with CRM and planning/financial analysis tools
  • Credentials (JD, CPA, CFP, CTFA) - or pathway/commitment to earn them

Why Trust Point

  • A strong, stable, century-old firm with a modern Family Office offering
  • Culture built on integrity, mentorship, and professional growth
  • Support for advanced credentials
  • Work-life balance and a collaborative team
  • The chance to do meaningful planning, not product pushing
  • Trust Point also supports ongoing learning through employer-paid certifications and relevant continuing education!
