About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced PET-CT Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Sidney, Montana. This exciting role offers the opportunity to help launch a new PET-CT department, performing advanced diagnostic imaging while contributing to protocol development, workflow optimization, and exceptional patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality PET/CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols.
Interpret physician orders, select appropriate imaging parameters, and produce accurate diagnostic images.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support timely and effective patient care.
Assist with developing department workflows, imaging protocols, and troubleshooting imaging equipment as needed.
Train and mentor new technologists and patient coordinators while maintaining accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.
Active ARRT (CT) and ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required.
Current BLS Certification required.
Minimum 2 years of recent PET/CT or Nuclear Medicine experience required.
Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography required.
Strong communication, patient care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills with the ability to support a growing imaging department.
