Position Overview:
The Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) AI Transformation and Enablement Senior Lead Analyst is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for leading AI-driven business transformation initiatives across the organization. Serving as a strategic partner to CSIS leadership, the role identifies, develops, and implements AI-enabled solutions that enhance operational effectiveness, improve decision-making, and accelerate innovation across the Security and Investigative functions and business operations.
The successful candidate will drive AI adoption by translating business needs into AI-enabled solution concepts, prototypes, intelligent workflows, and business capabilities. The role will lead proof-of-concept development, validate business value, and partner closely with Technology teams to industrialize, deploy, and support production-grade solutions. The role requires a blend of business transformation leadership, stakeholder engagement, change management, and applied AI and automation expertise to deliver measurable business outcomes and foster sustainable AI adoption across a complex, regulated environment.
Business Description:
Citi Security and Investigative Services' (CSIS) mission is to serve Citi and our clients by protecting their assets and reputation as the industry-leading provider of Security, Investigations, Crisis Management and Intelligence services.
The CSIS AI Transformation and Enablement function serves as the strategic lead for AI adoption across the organization, driving business transformation through AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation, and workflow modernization. The team partners with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, accelerate adoption of enterprise AI capabilities, and deliver measurable improvements in operational effectiveness, productivity, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities/ Day to Day Activities:
AI Strategy, Business Transformation & Executive Enablement
  • Partner with CSIS leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute AI transformation opportunities that align with organizational objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Develop AI adoption roadmaps, business cases, success metrics, and value realization frameworks to ensure measurable business outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders on AI-enabled operating model improvements, workflow redesign, and automation opportunities.
  • Lead structured process discovery and workflow redesign engagements with CSIS functional leaders, applying business analysis and process transformation methodologies to identify where AI and automation can deliver the greatest operational impact.

AI Solution Architecture, Prototyping & Innovation Delivery
  • Design, prototype, and validate AI-enabled solutions and intelligent automation concepts utilizing Citi-approved AI platforms, demonstrating business value and feasibility prior to implementation
  • Translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions that improve productivity, reduce manual effort, and strengthen operational effectiveness.
  • Develop proof-of-concept automations, workflow prototypes, and integration patterns using Python and enterprise AI platforms to demonstrate business value and inform production solution design.
  • Define and prototype API-based integration approaches between enterprise AI platforms and CSIS business processes, partnering with Technology teams responsible for enterprise implementation and operational support.
  • In partnership with Technology, manage solution development, testing, documentation, version control, and deployment activities using enterprise development practices and GitHub standards.

AI Workflow Integration & Adoption
  • Partner with CSIS functional leaders to embed AI capabilities directly into day-to-day workflows, enabling AI-augmented business processes rather than standalone technology solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a CSIS AI knowledge repository, including prompt libraries, solution patterns, use cases, implementation guidance, and best practices.
  • Drive the practical integration of enterprise AI platforms into CSIS's day-to-day operational workflows, ensuring solutions are embedded, sustainable, and adopted.

Advanced Analytics & Intelligent Automation
  • Leverage data science, machine learning, natural language processing, and large language model capabilities as enabling instruments to design agentic workflows, automate knowledge-intensive business processes, and deliver measurable operational outcomes across CSIS.
  • Design and deploy advanced AI-powered workflows capable of coordinating multi-step activities, synthesizing information, and supporting operational decision-making.
  • Evaluate and recommend the most appropriate AI approaches, models, and platforms based on business requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Identify emerging AI capabilities and assess their applicability to CSIS business challenges and operational objectives.

Enterprise Collaboration & External Engagement
  • Maintain strong partnerships with Citi's enterprise AI, technology, and innovation teams to stay informed of evolving capabilities, standards, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and AI practitioners across Citi to share best practices, reusable solutions, and lessons learned.

AI Governance, Risk Management & Production Readiness
  • Partner with CSIS Risk & Control, Technology, and Model Risk Management stakeholders to navigate AI governance requirements and enable production deployment.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience in working with various data teams.
  • Detailed understanding of latest data technologies and solutions towards how they can help solve for next generation business needs.
  • Experience using tools statistical modeling
  • 7+ years of professional experience leading or supporting AI, automation, digital transformation, or technology-enabled business improvement initiatives, including 3 years operating at a senior individual contributor, product owner, or team lead.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, designing, and delivering end-to-end AI, automation, or digital transformation solutions within a large enterprise environment-from business case development and requirements gathering through deployment, adoption, and value realization.
  • Experience at a top-tier management consulting, Big 4 advisory, or technology transformation firm with demonstrated client-facing delivery in AI strategy, intelligent automation, or business process transformation is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior business stakeholders to define strategic priorities, identify AI use cases, influence decision-making, and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Strong consulting, facilitation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives involving business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and data management partners.
  • Hands-on proficiency with at least two of the following enterprise AI platforms: Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude (Enterprise Workflows, Prompt Engineering)
  • Strong proficiency in Python and AI development tools to prototype solutions, validate concepts, and demonstrate business value. Experience with software engineering practices is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, systems integration, automation frameworks, and software development practices sufficient to collaborate effectively with Technology teams responsible for enterprise implementation and support.
  • Practical experience applying prompt engineering techniques and AI solution design patterns, including retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, knowledge management solutions, and workflow orchestration.
  • Working knowledge of data science, machine learning, natural language processing, and large language model concepts sufficient to evaluate opportunities, guide implementation decisions, and collaborate effectively with technical specialists.
  • Demonstrated commitment to responsible AI practices, including familiarity with AI governance, model risk considerations, privacy requirements, and ethical AI principles.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and senior leadership.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.

Additional Experience/Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience building, scaling, or leading enterprise AI, automation, innovation, or digital transformation programs from early adoption through sustainable operational deployment and measurable business value realization.
  • Proven abilities as a product owner, transformation lead, or AI strategist responsible for prioritizing use cases, managing delivery roadmaps, and driving business outcomes.
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions utilizing APIs, workflow orchestration, intelligent automation, or custom integrations within a regulated environment.
  • Experience implementing AI governance, responsible AI controls, risk assessment frameworks, or regulatory compliance processes associated with enterprise AI deployment.
  • Proven success in leading AI adoption, training, change management, or workforce enablement programs that drive enterprise-wide adoption of emerging technologies.
