Job description

MBA Consulting Services, Inc. is actively seeking a Lease Administrator to join our dynamic team, providing key support to our government client in Greensboro, NC. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting a team of commercial lease negotiators and administrators who manage a high volume of commercial lease negotiations and renewals.

As a Lease Administrator , your expertise in coordinating within a commercial leasing organization will be essential. You will be responsible for reviewing legal contracts and documents to ensure validation and completeness, working closely with the team to maintain accuracy and compliance. In addition, you may assist individual lease administrators in coordinating and completing the necessary paperwork, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the leasing operations.

This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and two days working remotely. A company-provided laptop will support your remote work capabilities. The position is based out of Greensboro, NC. Please note that during the initial 30-day training period, you will be required to work on-site in the office five days per week to ensure comprehensive onboarding and seamless integration into the team. The client must authorize teleworking based on the evaluation of performance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares commercial leases/subleases and other related documents.
  • Maintains and updates the lease activities in a database.
  • Maintains relationship with the landlords and occupants.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty
  • 5-8 years of Commercial leasing or real estate experience
  • Proficiency using MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours when needed
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check & drug test
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
