Job description

Position Overview: The Safety Team will serve as an essential part of the Capital One Arena experience during events and games. These are exciting, event-based positions that will provide support to MSE Security, CSC, and Guest Relations as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct foot patrol and building checks during events.
  • Conduct visual inspections and monitor assigned post area(s).
  • Investigate and report any unusual or unauthorized activity during events.
  • Conduct screening of employees, visitors, and guests as needed.
  • Provide a quality guest experience to all visitors, guest, and team members.
  • Be observant for spills and anything unusual during events.
  • Demonstrate creativity, persistence, "Arena Awareness", and knowledge related to the specific event to accurately and efficiently find the best possible options.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Willingness to work in a variety of environments including loud noises, strobe lights, heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time without a break.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Pay Rate: $21.50 USD/hour.
