Job description

The CSA / Room Ready Commissioning Engineer supports commissioning activities associated with Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) systems within a semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role collaborates with construction teams, project managers, commissioning personnel, contractors, and client representatives to ensure facility spaces are completed, inspected, and prepared for equipment installation and operational readiness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to develop technical expertise, and motivated to contribute to the successful delivery of a highly complex manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections and commissioning activities for Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) systems within a semiconductor manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct room readiness assessments to verify that construction activities are complete and spaces are prepared for equipment installation and future operational requirements.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation to support inspection activities and verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Identify, document, and communicate construction deficiencies, quality issues, and incomplete work requiring resolution.
  • Collaborate with construction contractors, project teams, and client stakeholders to track progress and support timely closeout of outstanding items.
  • Complete detailed inspection reports, punch lists, and commissioning documentation to maintain accurate project records.
  • Support verification of room conditions, including cleanliness, accessibility, finishes, structural elements, and other CSA requirements necessary for equipment installation.
  • Assist with coordination of commissioning activities across multiple project disciplines and construction phases.
  • Monitor assigned areas and prioritize inspections to support project milestones and overall facility readiness.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates regarding inspection findings, documentation status, and readiness activities.
  • Work safely and follow all client site procedures, quality standards, and commissioning requirements.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills required:
  • Understanding of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) construction concepts and principles.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues and construction deficiencies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and inspection records.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with construction documentation tools preferred.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, or large-scale construction environments preferred.
Education / Licenses / Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • Experience with room readiness or CSA commissioning activities preferred.
  • Experience within semiconductor or other mission-critical facilities preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
