JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Analyst, Pricing Center of Excellence is an analytical role responsible for supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies across Norwegian Cruise Line's onboard revenue portfolio. This includes a wide range of products and experiences - from beverage packages and a la carte bar pricing to shore excursions, specialty dining, spa services, and photo - covering both pre-cruise and onboard purchase channels.

This role sits within the Revenue Performance organization and partners closely with Onboard Revenue, eCommerce, and Revenue Intelligence teams to ensure pricing decisions are grounded in data, aligned to demand signals, and structured to maximize revenue per passenger cruise day (PCD).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development and maintenance of pricing models across onboard product categories using Excel and data modeling techniques
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large data sets using SQL to identify pricing trends, anomalies, and opportunities
  • Build and maintain pricing dashboards and performance reports using BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Conduct price performance analysis including variance reporting, elasticity observations, and post-change assessments
  • Research competitive pricing across cruise lines and relevant hospitality operators to inform benchmarking
  • Assist in the development and documentation of pricing frameworks, standard methodologies, and CoE best practices
  • Support price testing initiatives and summarize findings for review by senior team members
  • Monitor booking and purchase trends across pre-cruise and onboard channels and flag emerging patterns
  • Prepare data summaries and presentation materials for Director-level review

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE:

Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY:

Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • 3 years of experience in a data-driven analytical role (internship experience considered)
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, financial modeling, and scenario analysis
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating relational data sets
  • Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Coursework or practical exposure to statistical analysis, pricing theory, or demand modeling
  • Experience or strong interest in the cruise, hospitality, or travel industry
  • Familiarity with revenue management concepts such as yield, elasticity, or price-volume tradeoffs
  • Experience building dashboards or automated reporting in a professional or academic setting
