Union County Educational Services Commission is a public school districtย established to provide cost-effective educational programs and solutionsย for the twenty-one public school districts located in Union County. The Commission isย currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher/ Preschool-3 to fill a leave-replacement positionย at Crossroads School. Thisย innovative public elementaryย school wasย established to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of students who areย diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other related developmental disabilities.ย 
**Applicants Must Possess Valid NJDOE Teaching Certification to be Eligible for Employment**











Description:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:20 - 2:40 p.m.
  • Salary: $ 62,345 - $98,050

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Special Educationย or related area of study from an accredited college or university
  • Valid NJDOE Teacher of the Handicapped Certification or Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND Preschool-3 Educationย endorsement
  • Experience working with elementary students with autism spectrum disorders, preferably in a public education setting
