Job description

Job Summary:
CACI International Inc is seeking a highly skilled Cross Domain Solutions Engineer to support secure information-sharing capabilities across multiple classification domains. The role involves engineering, integrating, and validating Cross Domain Solutions while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and supporting Army tactical network protection.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Engineer, integrate, test, and validate Cross Domain Solutions (High-to-Low, Low-to-High, bi-directional) supporting tactical mission systems.
โ€ข Support secure architecture design, data flow engineering, and cybersecurity-compliant implementations.
โ€ข Develop and maintain system design documentation, interface documents, engineering change proposals, and assessments.
โ€ข Perform requirements analysis, system modeling, test planning, and verification/validation activities.
โ€ข Support DoW and Army Cross Domain authorization processes, including security control assessments, test documentation, POA&Ms, and interoperability assessments.
โ€ข Analyze cyber, network, and data-handling risks; recommend mitigations aligned with DoD RMF and Intelligence Community cross-domain security policies.
โ€ข Collaborate with Government engineers, program leads, cyber SMEs, and system integrators.
โ€ข Provide technical expertise during system fielding, integration events, lab-based experimentation, and operational assessments.
โ€ข Support configuration management, troubleshooting, incident response, and lifecycle sustainment of CDS technologies.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related discipline; 3-5 years of applicable experience.
โ€ข Experience engineering or integrating Cross Domain Solutions, guard technologies, Multi-Level Security systems, and/or multi-domain security architectures.
โ€ข Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), ICD 503, NIST 800-53, DoDI 8540.01, AR 25-2-1, and DoD/IC Cross Domain security policies.
โ€ข Hands-on experience with at least one CDS technology (e.g., Radiant Mercury, High Speed Guard, TACDS, ISSE Guard, OWL XD, etc).
โ€ข Strong understanding of network protocols, enclave boundary security, data labeling, releasability enforcement, and secure data transport.
โ€ข Experience with Linux systems engineering and secure system configuration hardening.
โ€ข Secret clearance
Preferred:
โ€ข Masterโ€™s degree in computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, or related field.
โ€ข Prior experience supporting C5ISR Center, Army tactical networks, or related mission partners.
โ€ข Experience with scripting, automation, or DevSecOps-based test workflows.
โ€ข Knowledge of tactical communications systems, enclave architectures, cloud/edge environments, or mission command/command post systems.
โ€ข Certifications: Security+, CISSP, CEH, CASP, or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 IAT/IASAE Level II/III.
