Key Responsibilities

As a Community Manager, your primary goal is to create a welcoming environment for residents while ensuring smooth property operations.

  • Ensure compliance with HUD, DHCR, HFA, Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, and all applicable laws
  • Process move-ins, move-outs, and security deposits using property management software
  • Maintain resident files, verifications, lease renewals, and collections
  • Coordinate and conduct lease renewals, interim and annual recertifications
  • Promote the property and build a strong sense of community among residents

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in Affordable Housing (HUD/LIHTC/RD required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Strong leasing, bookkeeping, and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
