Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Crisis Therapist in Emporia, Kansas.
POSITION OVERVIEW
• Outpatient and community-based behavioral health role focused on emergency mental health and crisis intervention services
• Conduct crisis evaluations, intake assessments, and care coordination for clients across all age groups
• Collaborate with hospitals, community agencies, and interdisciplinary crisis teams to support continuity of care
• Opportunity to provide meaningful mental health support while maintaining autonomy in clinical decision-making
• Emporia location offering a stable community environment with strong behavioral health support systems
COMPENSATION
• Base Salary: $75,609 – $85,213 depending on experience and licensure
SCHEDULE
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Full-time 40-hour work week
• Work across two nearby office locations
ROLE
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency behavioral health assessments
• Conduct intake evaluations and determine appropriate treatment recommendations
• Coordinate care with hospitals, law enforcement, schools, and community organizations
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and clinical records
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case collaboration
• Support clients experiencing acute behavioral health crises across multiple care settings

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology REQUIRED
• Active Kansas licensure as LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LP, LPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LSCSW REQUIRED
• Crisis intervention and behavioral health assessment experience preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills REQUIRED
• Comfortable working with clients across all age groups REQUIRED
• Team-based and community-focused clinical mindset REQUIRED
