Job description

The Senior Web Designer will be responsible for designing websites for a wide variety of clients, including universities, hospitals, museums, social service organizations, etc. This is a very creative design position in a positive and friendly work environment. You'll be working with clients in many different fields, being able to work on projects with various design styles.

This is a full-time, in-office position with excellent benefits (listed below).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, code and maintain websites. You must have good HTML and CSS coding skills
  • Create comps based on knowledge of design principles, including layout, color selection and typography
  • Work on miscellaneous digital projects as needed
  • Interact with our growing staff of web designers / developers and marketing coordinators
  • Coaching and project management as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree (any field)
  • You must have an online portfolio showing your work
  • Excellent design skills
  • Dreamweaver, Photoshop & Illustrator
  • HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Understanding of UX and UI concepts
  • Print experience with InDesign is a plus
