Job description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Corporate Security Guard in our Corporate Security area of the Bank. Learn more about the career areas and business divisionsat wellsfargojobs.com

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Corporate Security functional area to safeguard company's premises, assets, employees, visitors, guard entrances, and exits to prevent theft, vandalism, intrusion, or natural hazards; control vehicular and pedestrian access to the facility in compliance with established procedures
  • Perform routine customer support, operational and security tasks, patrol, and police premises to protect property and personnel
  • Complete required daily logs and reports
  • Respond to and resolve alarm system maintenance needs and security situations that arise in the workplace
  • Interact with other security guards, internal and external customers, Security Response Center analysts, and vendors in support of basic security responsibilities; and work closely with internal groups to ensure escalation guidelines are followed according to written procedures; and escalate questions not directly addressed by written procedures to the escalation person or groups set forth in the procedures
  • Provide quality customer service while enforcing written procedures
  • Regularly receive direction from Corporate Security agents and supervisor
  • Initiate work orders, facilitate equipment repairs with vendors, and document the resolution process


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Corporate Security, surveillance and alarm experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Valid WA state CCW
  • 21+ years of age

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid WA state guard card
  • Former experience as an Armed Guard
  • Armed firearm license or certification
  • Experience with Access Control Systems and CCTV Monitor
  • Possess a CPR / First Aid Certification
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Customer service experience


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work in a Wells Fargo office location as assigned by Wells Fargo
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs
  • Ability to stand for up to multiple hours or sit for up to 4 hours
  • Must have eyesight corrected to 20/20 and no uncorrectable hearing impairment
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory firearms training; although actual requirement to carry firearms may vary by jurisdiction
  • Must be flexible with availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled, and respond to alarm monitoring as needed.
  • Required shift rotation every 6 months or as needed.

Salary: $26hr + Full Benefits and up to 18 days PTO

Schedule: M - F 5:00AM - 1:30PM and covering officer PTO and absences.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$22.00 - $26.44
