Where You Will Work: Roseburg Kline Branch: 2335 NW Kline St, Roseburg, OR 97471 (Branches). Travel is required for this position.

Pay Range: The target hourly pay range for this position is $18.70 - $21.25. The full hourly pay range is $17.00 - $25.50.

  • We provide an additional $2.00 per hour bilingual differential for those employees who can support our members' financial needs effectively in a second language; subject to verification of strong grasp of financial terms utilizing language skillset.
  • Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer of employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

What You'll Do: 

  • Welcomes and engages members by greeting all visitors warmly, managing branch traffic with a sense of urgency to ensure minimal wait times and a positive member experience, while remaining attentive to relationship-building cues that support consultative sales conversations. 
  • Promotes credit union products and services by proactively identifying, referring, and originating credit union products and services to meet member needs, strengthening financial relationships, demonstrating sales acumen through effective discovery, confident product positioning, and closing skills, consistently meeting or exceeding assigned referral sales targets.
  • Processes member transactions, accurately receives, processes, and posts deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments while maintaining complete and accurate transaction records, leveraging each interaction as an opportunity to uncover needs and introduce value-aligned solutions.  
  • Resolves member inquiries and concerns, responds to member requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy, ensuring warm hand-offs and timely follow-up for full resolution, while recognizing when service moments can transition into sales opportunities that support the member's financial well-being.  
  • Makes outbound calls to members/customers to support outreach initiatives, relationship building, and organizational goals.  
  • Performs specialized financial functions, completes wire transfers and other complex transactions while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, and identifies opportunities where specialized products or services may benefit the member.  
  • Balances cash drawer and daily transactions; assists with vault balancing, dispenser maintenance, certifications, key assignments, and cash orders under management oversight.  
  • Records detailed notes on member interactions, complex situations, and transactions to ensure clear communication and consistent service delivery, capturing relevant sales insights to support follow-up and relationship growth.  
  • Demonstrates professionalism and continuous Learning by taking initiative to learn new systems, processes, and policies; completing required training; and maintaining a professional image while contributing positively to the team environment, including ongoing development of sales skills, product knowledge, and consultative techniques.  
  • Supports branch and organizational operations and provides staffing support as needed across locations and departments, and performs other duties as assigned to ensure operational excellence and continuity of service, while helping the branch achieve overall sales and growth objectives.  
  • All other duties as assigned.  

When You'll Be Working: Monday- Friday: 8:45am - 5:45pm and rotating Saturdays: 9:15am - 1:45pm. Full-time 40 Hours a week. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience interacting with customers and handling cash, or an equivalent combination of work experience.

  • Demonstrated skills including, bilingual skills, consultative sales skills to uncover member needs, make tailored recommendations, and build lasting financial relationships.

Total Rewards:

This position is eligible for Full-Time Regular benefits. Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage.

  • Includes an option for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance to be paid at a 100% by company for the employee only coverage. 
  • We also offer Health Care FSA (HCFSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions, and Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA).
  • Employees also have access to Life and AD&D insurance.
  • Employees are able to enroll in our 401k plan.
  • Full-Time Regular employees accrue 8 hours of vacation and 8 hours of sick leave, on a monthly basis. 
  • Full-Time Regular hired employees also receive 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, 1 floating holiday, 16 hours of self-care time, and 16 hours of volunteer time.

All benefits except 401k start the first of the month following date of hire. Employees become eligible to contribute to 401k on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
