Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT).

Job Duties and Other Information CONDUCT ASSESSMENTS AND DEVELOP INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT PLANS MAINTAIN ACCURATE AND CONFIDENTIAL RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH LEGAL STANDARDS PARTICIPATE IN CASE CONFERENCES, STAFF MEETINGS, AND GROUP THERAPY Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: JOB APPOINTMENT A job appointment is a temporary job lasting up to four years; however, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment. This position may also be filled as a probational appointment if a non-temporary position becomes available in the recruitment process.

If filled by probation, a permanent classified LA State employee, if selected, may be required to accept a probational appointment. Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $19.88 per hour. This position also offers premium pay: A rate between $2.00 and $5.00 an hour for each regular hour worked, based on years of service with DOC, in addition to regular pay
