Job description

We're looking for a detail-oriented, early-career and analytically Credit Analyst to join our team.

Multi Service Fuel Card is a growing FinTech company based in Overland Park, Kansas. Our fuel card solutions help transportation businesses nationwide manage their fuel expenses more efficiently and keep their operations moving.

The Credit Analyst role is centered in our Overland Park office and involves regular, in-person collaboration throughout the week. We have an immediate opening therefore top candidates should already be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Overland Park. Relocation and other schedule arrangements are not available.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of experience in B2B underwriting, business credit, or financial analysis who's ready to build their career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do
  • Review and evaluate business credit applications for completeness, accuracy, and financial strength
  • Analyze credit data, financial documents, and risk indicators to assess creditworthiness
  • Recommend appropriate credit limits based on company guidelines and risk tolerance
  • Communicate clearly (written and verbal) with applicants and account holders regarding decisions, additional information requests, and next steps
  • Identify potential fraud through application review, research, and verification calls
  • Assist in securing accounts through appropriate documentation (e.g., deposits, guarantees, liens)
  • Maintain accurate records of credit decisions and updates in internal systems
  • Support ongoing account management, including periodic credit reviews and credit line adjustments
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries related to credit decisions and account activity
What You Bring
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in business-to-business underwriting, business credit or analysis is required
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret credit documentation and guidelines
  • Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills along with strong attention to details
  • Highly intuitive nature to detect potential concerns while assessing credit worthiness
  • Experience in financial statement analysis is a plus
  • Experience in reporting and data analytics, i.e. Power BI, Salesforce or SQL is a plus
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Additional education with an emphasis in accounting, economics, finance or related discipline is preferred
