Job Summary
Assist in the athletic communications office by publicizing GGC's intercollegiate athletic teams through storytelling on GGCAthletics.com, managing in-game statistics, and developing social media marketing strategies. Interact with student-athletes and coaches during sporting events through photography and game operations.
Responsibilities

• Interact with student-athletes during sporting events
• Manage in-game statistics.
• Develop social media and marketing strategies.
• Light administrative support such as making copies, organizing various documents, and data entry.
• Take game-day photos.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a Federal Work Study award
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College.
• Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment.
• Must be in good conduct standing with Georgia Gwinnett College and maintain good conduct for the duration of employment.
• Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to apply judgment and discretion in performing confidential personnel matters.
• Ability to be highly organized, attentive to details, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• English or Marketing major or interest in the Athletics workforce.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
