Supervising Producer, Social Video
America's Test Kitchen is seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced Supervising Producer to join our Social Video team. If you live and breathe social media and have a knack for creating engaging Reels, we want to hear from you!
As our Supervising Producer, Social Video Strategy/Creative, you will oversee our short-form video production from start to finish, leading a team of 2-4 junior Social Video Strategists/Producers as they concept, capture and edit content for social platforms with a particular focus on Instagram Reels and TikTok. As part of the Social Media team, you'll work hand-in-hand with the Sr. Director of Social to create compelling, shareable content that aligns with our brand voice, generates engagement and grows our social media presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leadership & Team Management: Drive team performance by coaching and mentoring Social Video Producers, managing individual development and accountability, and fostering an environment that enables the consistent delivery of high-quality, on-brand video content.
  • Creative Video Strategy & Oversight: Lead creative video strategy and execution in partnership with the Sr. Director of Social and cross-functional teams, guiding content development from ideation through final delivery while elevating visual quality, tone, storytelling effectiveness, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Content Development & Innovation: Spearhead the creation of fresh, innovative short-form video content, identifying new trends, technologies, formats, and strategies that will elevate the brand presence.
  • Project & Content Management: Work with the Social Video Production Manager to ensure smooth workflows and adherence to deadlines. Leverage project management tools to ensure content is organized, performance is tracked, and necessary adjustments are made based on data and insights. Regularly report on the effectiveness of video strategies and team performance.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, platform changes, and best practices in social media video marketing, adapting strategies to maximize engagement and reach.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in video production, editing, and optimization for social media, with a strong portfolio of short-form video content across Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of social media trends, video formats, and platform algorithms, particularly on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Proven track record in video strategy development, with demonstrated success in increasing engagement, driving measurable results, and overseeing creative processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a creative team, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving team performance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
Salary Range: $ 90,000-$95,000
The range provided is based on what we reasonably expect to pay for this job as of the time of posting. The actual salary offered will be determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, geographical location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
