Job description

How This Role Makes a Difference

Care Access is looking for a Creative Video Producer who knows how to turn ideas into compelling stories. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. You will help bring Care Access stories to life across a variety of formats, from event coverage and patient-driven stories to brand storytelling. You should be able to generate strong creative ideas and turn those ideas into a clear plan for execution.

In this role, you may be asked to find a compelling story around an event one day and conceptualize a mission-based feature documentary the next. You should be comfortable pitching ideas, receiving feedback, adjusting your approach, and moving projects forward without losing momentum. We are looking for someone who can stay flexible, collaborative, and focused on the final goal.

You will also need to be resourceful. Some projects may require you to coordinate with internal teams, identify outside vendors, or find creative solutions when timelines, locations, or resources shift. Strong communication will be important, especially when challenges come up or priorities change.

The work you create will help tell the story of Care Access, the people we serve, and the impact of clinical research on the future of medicine. We are looking for someone who can combine creative thinking with strong execution and who understands that great storytelling can help people connect with meaningful work.

The right person for this role is self-motivated, curious, adaptable, and energized by new challenges. You do not need every project to be perfectly predictable. You do need to be someone who can stay organized, think creatively, collaborate well, and help turn important ideas into high-quality content.

Please note, this is a full-time, temporary position.

How You'll Make An Impact
  • Concept Development & Scriptwriting: Translate high-level creative visions established by the Creative Manager into actionable execution plans, generating innovative story suggestions, outlines, and finalized scripts.
  • Pre-Production Plan Strategy: Oversee all facets of the pre-production lifecycle, including the creation of comprehensive shot lists, scene concepts, and storyboards to align cross-functional teams before filming.
  • On-Set Directing & Production Leadership: Direct physical video shoots on-set-or partner closely with an on-set director-while collaborating with talent, design, and cinematographers to maintain total brand alignment and story integrity.
  • Post-Production Oversight & Editorial Review: Partner collaboratively with video editors through the post-production process, managing the revision cycle to ensure the final narrative structure matches the original pre-production vision.
  • End-to-End Workflow Management: Efficiently manage complete video production pipelines from concept to finalization, maintaining high agility and creative quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate respectful, collaborative relationships across teams and apply specialized knowledge (such as preferred healthcare industry experience) to video content.
  • Ad-Hoc Project Execution: Handle ongoing asset organization, cross-functional alignment tasks, and other related production management duties as assigned by leadership.
The Expertise Required
  • Concept Development & Scriptwriting: Expertly translate high-level creative concepts into actionable production blueprints, generating innovative story suggestions and writing finalized scripts from basic outlines.
  • Pre-Production Strategy: Oversee all facets of the pre-production lifecycle, creating comprehensive shot lists, scheduling production timelines, and building visual storyboards to align the crew before filming.
  • On-Set Directing & Production Leadership: Confidently manage physical film sets, direct on-screen talent, and collaborate closely with cinematographers, designers, and crew members to ensure brand alignment and story integrity.
  • Post-Production Oversight: Partner collaboratively with video editors through the post-production pipeline, managing detailed revision loops and editorial reviews to ensure the final cut matches the pre-production vision.
  • Domain Specialization: Possess a deep, end-to-end understanding of the entire video production lifecycle, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience producing content within the healthcare or clinical space.
  • Agility & Workspace Flexibility: Maintain high organization, focus, and adaptability when managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, rapidly shifting production environment.
  • Interpersonal & Collaborative Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, maintaining a highly collaborative, respectful approach when interfacing with cross-functional teams and corporate stakeholders.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willing and able to travel for on-location field productions and video shoots an average of once or twice per month, occasionally on short notice.
  • Portfolio Demonstration: Provide a current, comprehensive portfolio or video demo reel that clearly demonstrates strong narrative structure, high production value, and a proven ability to execute a creative vision.
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience
  • Minimum Experience:
    • 5+ years of verified, hands-on experience working as a video producer, director, or creative lead within a professional video production house, creative agency, or corporate media environment.
