The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a Kids Theatre Instructor to lead interactive theatre classes that foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm in scheduled sessions.


This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing YMCA located just five miles west of New York City in the waterfront city of Perth Amboy. Since 1912, the Raritan Bay Area YMCA has proudly served the evolving needs of our community. Today, we support more than 6,000 members in the Raritan Bay area through programs and initiatives focused on Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.


Role Summary:


The Kids Theatre Instructor will guide participants through creative theatre experiences, encouraging imagination, storytelling, and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate theatre and movement lessons
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and structured classroom environment
  • Communicate student progress with parents and staff

Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 years of age
