Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

At Makeready, we are searching for curious self-starters with a genuine interest in people. These hardworking individuals have always had a natural bend toward hospitality, no matter where they work, because they've always seen themselves as a part of something bigger.

We are looking for a creative and results-driven Restaurant Marketing Manager to lead marketing, programming, partnerships, and communications across Makereadyโ€™s premier restaurants and bars in Columbus. Skilled at implementing creative marketing practices with an eye on guest satisfaction, profitability, branding, and trends, this individual serves as a key connector between property leadership, agency partners, and internal marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic ongoing marketing initiatives and programs to target locals, tourists and private dining businesses to promote Chouette, Hanks and Little West Tavern as must-go restaurants in Columbus.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and deployment of strategies and tactics across social media, digital and creative design functions.
  • Create, manage, and implement all-encompassing PR and marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, to increase revenue, generate foot traffic and build awareness.
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns to build awareness and drive visitation.
  • Build CRM and email database campaigns to increase visitation and ensure repeat business.
  • Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure alignment of programming and sales goals.
  • Work closely with restaurant teams to promote events, seasonal menus, and unique offerings.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and materials.
  • Create marketing partnerships and promotions with suppliers, company business units, and complementary brands that drive revenue and access new audiences.
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including content creation, audience segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Build a strong and engaged influencer program to build brand awareness and create user-generated content.
  • Collaborate with GM, Exec Chef, Director of Culinary, Director of Ops, etc on ongoing marketing strategy for Makeready Restaurants in Columbus.
Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant marketing experience of 3-5 years
  • Experience working with chefs, GMโ€™s, BOH and FOH team members
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong social media background in both planning/posting/strategy
  • Basic to intermediate excel knowledge
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of Canva, InDesign, Photoshop
  • Experience with Social Media Management Platforms
