Job description

Additional Services Production Manager

Grow Beautiful Work. Grow Great People. Grow Your Career.

At Plants Creative, we believe landscapes have the power to transform lives and communities. Our work is about more than maintaining properties - it’s about creating beautiful outdoor spaces and delivering experiences that make a difference.

We’re looking for an Additional Services Production Manager who wants to own a meaningful piece of that mission.

Additional Services is an important part of our Maintenance business and a significant opportunity for growth. From seasonal color and pine straw to mulch, aeration, cleanups, and other enhancements, these services create beautiful results for our clients while creating opportunities to deepen relationships and grow our business.

This is a role for someone who loves
people, plants, systems, and getting things done.

You’ll own the planning and execution of our Additional Services program, ensuring that work is scheduled well, crews have what they need, and jobs are completed to our standards.  You’ll work closely with our Maintenance Operations Manager and Property Care Managers while becoming a trusted leader for our field teams. If you are organized, proactive, and comfortable with numbers, and energized by the opportunity to build something better, we’d love to meet you.

Production & Scheduling

  • Own the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all Additional Services across our maintenance properties.
  • Coordinate seasonal and recurring services including mulch, pine straw, seasonal color, aeration and overseeding, warm-season aerations, landscape cleanups, and other additional services.
  • Build efficient schedules that maximize crew productivity, route density, and profitability.
  • Anticipate seasonal demands and ensure materials, crews, equipment, and information are ready before work begins.
  • Adjust schedules proactively as weather, staffing, client needs, and operational priorities change.

Revenue & Growth

  • Help grow Additional Services into a stronger, more profitable part of the Maintenance business.
  • Partner with Property Care Managers to identify opportunities on existing properties and ensure those opportunities are followed through.
  • Develop accurate estimates, takeoffs, and pricing for mulch, pine straw, seasonal color, and other services.
  • Track opportunities, sold work, production, and revenue against division goals.
  • Look for ways to improve systems, increase efficiency, and create repeatable seasonal programs.
  • Understand the numbers behind the work and use them to make better decisions.

Seasonal Color & Horticulture

  • Own the planning and execution of our seasonal color program.
  • Coordinate plant selection, design, quantities, purchasing, scheduling, and installation.
  • Help our team continue to raise the horticultural standard of our work.

Quality & Ultimate Experiences

  • Conduct regular job audits to ensure work is complete, beautiful, efficient, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Take ownership when something isn’t right and make sure it gets corrected.
  • Ensure crews understand the standard before they begin the work - not after the client notices a problem.
  • Look for opportunities to improve the customer experience at every stage of the process.
  • Help us live out one of our core commitments: Deliver Ultimate Experiences Always.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as a critical connection point between Additional Services crews, Property Care Managers, Maintenance Operations, vendors, and office.
  • Communicate schedules, changes, priorities, and challenges clearly and proactively.

What Success Looks Like

  • Additional Services work is planned, sold, scheduled, and executed well.
  • Crews know where they need to be and what is expected before they arrive.
  • Clients receive beautiful work and an exceptional experience.
  • Property Care Managers trust that opportunities will be followed through.
  • Seasonal programs run proactively rather than reactively.
  • Revenue and profitability goals are understood and consistently tracked.
  • Problems are identified early and solved quickly.
  • Our systems get better because of your leadership.
  • Our people get better because of your coaching.
  • Additional Services becomes a stronger and more valuable part of the Plants Creative business.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Experience coordinating crews, schedules, field operations, or production in a landscape, horticulture, construction, or similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of landscape materials and services, including mulch, pine straw, seasonal color, cleanups, aeration, and foundational horticultural practices.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfort developing estimates, takeoffs, and cost projections.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Good understanding of plants and seasonal color, with an interest in continuing to grow horticultural knowledge.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems. Aspire experience is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work comfortably in both an office and field environment.

Why Join Plants Creative?

We give great people the opportunity to do meaningful work, develop their talents, and make a difference in the communities where we live and work. At Plants Creative, we trust our people to take ownership while providing the support, tools, and accountability they need to succeed. We are building the next generation of landscape company, and that means we're always looking for better ways to serve our clients, develop our people, use technology, protect our environment, and grow our business.

If that sounds like the kind of team you want to be part of, we want to hear from you.

Work Hours & Environment

  • Monday–Thursday: 6:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
  • Friday flexibility may be required based on weather, seasonality, and operational needs.
  • This is an hourly position with a combination of office and field work. We are looking to transition this position into a salaried position in spring 2027.
  • Regular interaction with field crews, Property Care Managers, vendors, and leadership is expected.
