As the Assistant Director, Creative Services, you'll report to the Senior Director of Retail, Carrington Austin. You will collaborate closely with the retail and creative teams to develop and fulfill creative needs for the USA Baseball Official Online Shop and Flagship Store. You will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables align with the organization's branding and content strategies. This role will require you to manage multiple projects and deliver creative assets on time for social media, websites, and internal initiatives. You will also support various programs with visually engaging content that enhances the overall communication strategy of the organization.
IN THIS ROLE
  • Lead end-to-end visual content creation for the USA Baseball Shop, including high-quality product photography and engaging lifestyle shoots.
  • Execute omnichannel marketing campaigns across email, social media, web, and emerging digital platforms to drive retail engagement.
  • Design high-impact collateral for the USA Baseball Shop Flagship Store, ranging from large-scale in-store signage to promotional flyers.
  • Maintain and optimize digital assets on USABaseballShop.com to ensure a seamless and visually compelling user experience.
  • Safeguard brand integrity by ensuring all creative output aligns with USA Baseball's visual identity and overarching strategic goals.
  • Partner with the Retail team to brainstorm and develop innovative design concepts that elevate the brand's market presence.
  • Drive project lifecycles by managing multiple creative requests simultaneously while meeting rigorous deadlines and organizational KPIs.
  • Curate a comprehensive digital asset library, ensuring all content is organized, archived, and easily accessible for future use.

  • You have a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
  • You have 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, photography, video production, or a related field.
  • You are proficient in product photography, with relevant experience in retail photography.
  • You are proficient in graphic design, including digital, print, and social media design.
  • You are proficient in design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects).
  • You have a strong portfolio that showcases your creativity, technical skills, problem-solving, and ability to deliver on a wide range of projects.
  • You have above average knowledge of operating high-definition video cameras, including Sony, Canon DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras.
  • You have excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work on time.
  • You have a passion for storytelling and the ability to translate goals and identity into creative content.

SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary will be commensurate on experience and USA Baseball's benefits package includes full medical and dental, 401(k) retirement plan, and a cell phone reimbursement plan.
REMOTE WORK POLICY
USA Baseball believes in fostering a flexible work environment that promotes work-life balance and enhances employee productivity.
USA Baseball employs a Remote Work Season from approximately the first Monday of October through the last Friday of February of the following year. During this time, employees are expected to be in the offices three days of the week, with the option to work remotely on Wednesdays and on Fridays. Employees are expected to be in office Monday through Friday during the USA Baseball Season, which runs from approximately March 1 through the end of September.
