Job description

Dozens of financial advisors across the country trust BGM to keep their marketing running. You'd be the person who makes sure it actually does.
BGM's Presence service handles monthly email campaigns, direct mail, social media scheduling, and website updates for a portfolio of 30+ financial advisory clients. This role owns that entire operation. If you like systems, catch errors before anyone asks you to, and feel genuine satisfaction when a campaign goes out clean and on time, keep reading.
This is an execution and coordination role, not a creative one.
What You'll Actually Do
Most of your week lives in campaigns. You're configuring and launching monthly email sends across dozens of client accounts, each with its own list, timing, and compliance requirements. At the same time, you're coordinating with mail houses on direct mail pieces: submitting lists, reviewing proofs, tracking delivery. Social scheduling and website updates run in parallel. Nothing waits for you to finish something else first.
You're also the primary point of contact for every client in your portfolio. Questions, problems, change requests: they come to you. You maintain contact lists, keep data clean, manage stamp inventory for direct mail, and make sure nothing falls through.
When new advisors come on board, you set them up from signed contract to first send. When campaigns are ready to go, you're the last set of eyes before the client sees them.
You also generate quarterly performance reports for clients: open rates, click rates, unsubscribes. You flag accounts that look at risk before they become problems.
And when you find yourself doing the same thing twice, you fix it. You build automation tools to reduce manual work, keep documentation current, and surface process gaps or compliance risks before they turn into something bigger.
Who We Are
Bill Good Marketing has been helping financial advisors build better practices since 1977. We make the systems, content, and tools that keep advisor businesses running, and we're behind Altitude, a CRM built specifically for the financial advisory world. We're a small, family-owned company based in South Jordan, Utah, with a distributed team that punches well above its weight. No corporate layers, no fluff, just a tight group of people who care about doing good work.
Requirements
Who You Are
You manage clients and vendors proactively, not reactively. You build systems instead of doing things manually twice. You catch errors before the client does. In financial services, accuracy isn't optional, and you already know that.
Most importantly, you can hold 30+ client contexts in your head at any given time, know which ones need attention today, and move.
Required
  • Hands-on experience with an email platform (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, ActiveCampaign, or similar). That means you've actually built campaigns, managed lists, and worked through deliverability issues yourself.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Later, PromoRepublic, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail. A wrong subject line or missed compliance step has real consequences here.
  • Ability to hold a high volume of recurring tasks across a large client portfolio without dropping any of them.
  • Basic analytics literacy: you can read open rates, click-through rates, and engagement numbers and have an informed conversation with a client about what they mean.
  • Comfortable picking up new SaaS platforms without needing someone to walk you through every step.
  • Clear writer, with clients and internally.

Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with financial services compliance.
  • Experience with direct mail production workflows.

Benefits
What You Get
  • Salary: $42,000-$56,000 depending on experience
  • Full health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid time off
  • A small, fast-moving team where your work is visible and your contribution actually matters
