Job description

Amazon Leo is seeking a Creative Director to lead the creative vision and execution for a brand-new brand launching on a global stage. This is a rare opportunity to shape the identity, storytelling, and creative culture for a product that will reach millions of customers across B2B, B2G and B2C audiences.
You will lead a team of associate creative directors, designers, producers, and agency partners; driving end-to-end creative development from concept through execution across digital, broadcast, social, experiential, print, and out-of-home channels. You will be the creative heartbeat of the brand as it moves from pre-launch into market, setting the bar for how Leo shows up everywhere customers encounter it.
This role partners closely with cross-functional leaders across marketing, PR, product, events, sales, and business development, as well as cross-Amazon partnerships. You will scale through strong teamwork, repeatable systems, and leading AI programs. You will bring creative leadership and engagement to a strong team, translating brand strategy into compelling, scalable creative systems that work across channels, formats, geographies, and audiences.
Key job responsibilities
Creative Vision
- Set and hold the creative bar for the Leo brand across all channels and touchpoints
- Create and lead end-to-end creative development; from concept and storytelling through to execution across digital, broadcast, social, experiential, print, and out-of-home
- Translate brand strategy into scalable visual systems, motion frameworks, and design languages that enable consistent execution across markets and formats
Team & Culture Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of associate creative directors, designers, and producers
- Lead creative reviews, establish clear feedback loops, and foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the in-house model
- Raise the creative bar across the team through coaching, critique, and example
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with marketing, product, category, events, and business development teams to deliver customer-focused creative solutions
- Collaborate with AWS brand and marketing partners on joint initiatives, co-branded experiences, and shared storytelling opportunities
- Work with event producers and experiential teams to translate brand identity into physical, dimensional, and immersive experiences
Operational Excellence
- Embrace AI to support scaling team while raising creative bar
- Develop and refine creative briefing processes, templates, and workflows that scale globally
- Build production-ready systems that accommodate multi-language, multi-cultural execution across markets of varying maturity
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with brand strategy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience communicating to a diverse, global audience
- Experience collaborating with UX, Product, and technical partners
- Experience in traditional and emerging media channels including TV, OOH, cinema, digital display, online video and paid social
- Experience working with stakeholders, or experience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environment
- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
- Experience working across both B2B and B2C audiences
- Experience in experiential design, events, or environmental graphics at scale (10,000+ attendee conferences)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
