About the team

The Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for bringing the Salesforce brand to life across our full portfolio of marketing and creative work. From building global brand and demand generation campaigns to creating experiences like Dreamforce, our multidisciplinary team of designers, copywriters, strategists, producers, project managers, and creative leaders partners across the organization to deliver impactful, brand-defining work.

The Integrated Campaigns Creative team translates Salesforce's products, technology, and customer moments into compelling cross-channel creative experiences and stories.

About the role

As Director, Integrated Campaigns Creative, you will lead the creative team dedicated to supporting Data 360, serving as a key creative partner to Product Marketing (PMM) and the broader teams responsible for bringing Data 360 to market.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team of copywriters and designers responsible for translating complex product strategies, capabilities, and narratives into compelling cross-channel creative work including, digital experiences, event activations, demand gen campaigns, content creation, and other integrated marketing initiatives.

This role requires a balance of strong creative leadership, hands-on creative execution, and exceptional partnership skills. You will build a close working relationship with Data 360 Product Marketing, helping translate business and product priorities into clear creative strategies while managing the team, priorities, and workload required to deliver against them. You will also serve as a senior creative consultant to internal teams and external agency partners supporting Data 360 initiatives, providing creative direction, brand stewardship, and strategic guidance to ensure work is cohesive, effective, and representative of the Salesforce brand.

As our creative organization continues to evolve how we work, you will also help your team leverage emerging AI tools and workflows to accelerate exploration, increase creative capacity, and unlock new possibilities for storytelling and execution. You should be comfortable working directly with generative AI tools and helping creatives incorporate them thoughtfully into their day-to-day practice.

This is a highly collaborative leadership role for someone who understands how to run creative teams, build trusted relationships with Product Marketing partners, navigate complex product stories, and turn strategy into distinctive creative work across channels.

What you will do

  • Lead the creative partnership with Data 360 Product Marketing, serving as a senior creative counterpart and helping translate product, audience, and business priorities into compelling creative strategies and executions.

  • Drive digital creative excellence across web, UI/UX, AI workflows, and emerging platforms to deliver innovative, scalable web and interactive experiences

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary creative team of copywriters and designers, providing creative direction, mentorship, feedback, prioritization, and support while building a high-performing and collaborative team culture.

  • Oversee creative development across the Data 360 marketing portfolio, including demand generation campaigns, event activations and experiences, product storytelling, digital and social content, and other integrated marketing initiatives.

  • Partner closely with PMM and cross-functional marketing teams to understand business objectives, product narratives, audiences, and priorities and translate them into clear, actionable creative briefs and opportunities.

  • Manage and prioritize the team's creative workload in partnership with Creative Operations and marketing stakeholders, balancing planned initiatives with emerging business needs and ensuring resources are focused on the highest-impact work.

  • Provide strong conceptual and strategic creative direction from initial brief through final execution, ensuring work delivers against marketing objectives while maintaining a high bar for craft, storytelling, and brand consistency.

  • Provide creative consultation and direction to external agency partners and internal creative teams supporting Data 360 projects, helping establish a cohesive creative vision across work produced by multiple teams and partners.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Product Marketing and senior creative leadership, bringing a creative point of view to conversations around product positioning, storytelling, audience engagement, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Partner with other creative leaders across Global Brand & Creative to ensure Data 360 work connects to broader Salesforce campaigns, events, brand initiatives, and creative platforms.

  • Champion the thoughtful adoption of generative AI within the creative process, helping the team identify opportunities to accelerate ideation, prototyping, production, and experimentation.

  • Establish effective ways of working across PMM, Creative, Operations, Production Studios, agencies, and other partners to improve creative quality, speed, transparency, and scalability.

  • Advocate for the team and the creative work, clearly articulating creative rationale and presenting concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders.

  • Foster an environment of creative ambition, experimentation, collaboration, and continuous learning while ensuring the team consistently delivers best-in-class work.

What experience you have

  • BA or BFA in Art, Design, Copywriting, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or a related creative discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 12+ years of experience in creative direction, art direction, design, copywriting, or integrated creative development, within a creative agency or in-house creative organization; experience with B2B and technology brands is a plus.

  • 8+ years of experience leading and managing creative teams, with demonstrated experience developing designers, copywriters, art directors, or other multidisciplinary creative talent.

  • Proven experience building strong partnerships with Product Marketing, integrated marketing, or other senior cross-functional stakeholders and translating complex business and product strategies into compelling creative work.

  • A world-class portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and integrated creative execution across multiple channels and formats.

  • Experience developing product-focused and integrated marketing creative across campaigns, demand generation, digital, content, video, social, experiential, and events.

  • Strong understanding of how to translate complex technology and product capabilities into clear, differentiated, audience-relevant creative storytelling.

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple concurrent workstreams, prioritize team capacity, and maintain creative quality in a fast-moving organization.

  • Experience directing and collaborating with external agencies, production partners, and internal creative teams, including providing clear creative feedback and maintaining consistency across distributed work.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and present creative strategies, concepts, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Hands-on familiarity and proficiency with generative AI and emerging creative technologies, including tools such as Gemini, Claude, Nano Banana, Runway, and related image, video, ideation, and production tools.

  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, build alignment across multiple stakeholders, and provide decisive creative leadership in a complex, highly collaborative organization.
