Job Summary:

The Creative Graphic Designer develops innovative, high-quality graphic designs by conducting researching, collaborating with staff and clients, applying creative direction, and delivering world-class visual and user-interaction solutions.

Job Description:

  • Serves customers by advising, creating, and developing graphic designs, layouts, print and/ or web ready solutions across a variety of mediums to meet client expectations and needs.  
  • Completes projects by compiling information, working within established timelines, and providing feedback to the Creative Manager. May partner with sales and clients, as directed, to help set realistic schedules.  
  • Maintains created and supplied files, e-mails, conversations, and info in an organized and standardized filing system.
  • Contributes to operating efficiency and quality by recommending and following new and existing procedures.  
  • Verifies creative results by reviewing projects, sales and customer feedback and conducting audits of design production.
  • Maintains product quality and project consistency by evaluating outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating marketing trends and anticipating requirements.  
  • May participate in creative research by aligning with client goals and marketing strategies, partnering with Sales to identify solutions, and developing innovative designs, concepts, and presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned.    

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

  • Bachelor's degree, or associate’s degree plus two years related experience or High School diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 2+ years of experience using an ERP system. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Solid knowledge of graphics processes and be able to analyze, problem solve, make decisions, schedule, source. 
  • Ability to navigate multiple projects and pivot quickly as needed.
  • In-depth knowledge of all Adobe Creative Cloud products for print production  
  • Understanding of color calibration and Preflight 
  • Ability to implement page layout and basic design. 
  • Operations skills in graphics, business technology and logistics of distribution 
  • Previous experience working in manufacturing and/or print. 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time 
  • Ability to visually inspect all work for defects. 
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive work

Pay Statement:

The national pay range for this role is listed in the job posting. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
