Creative Managers are professionals who oversee the creative direction and output of a company or team, often within advertising, marketing, or design environments. They lead creative projects from concept to completion, manage creative teams, and ensure that visual, written, and multimedia content aligns with brand strategy and goals. Creative Managers collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other departments to deliver effective and innovative campaigns. They are responsible for maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines, often juggling multiple projects at once.

Product Marketing Manager – St. Louis, MO

Concordia Publishing House (CPH) – A Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod Organization

Full Time

Do you love connecting churches, schools, and families with resources that shape faith formation? CPH is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead brand strategy and product marketing for our Day School, Sunday School, and VBS curriculum lines, from concept to launch to retirement. If you thrive on strategy, data, and creative problem-solving in service of a bigger mission, this role is for you.

Why Join Us?

As part of CPH, you'll join a team that has served the church for over 150 years, and you'll enjoy:

  • Purpose-driven work supporting Gospel-centered ministry
  • A collaborative, caring culture with people who genuinely value teamwork
  • Professional growth opportunities
  • Meaningful impact on churches, schools, and families
  • Competitive benefits and work-life balance

What You'll Do

As Product Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to ensure successful product development, marketing, and brand positioning of curriculum lines, including Day School, Sunday School, and VBS
  • Develop and execute an annual business plan covering sales, costs, inventory, budgets, and missional impact
  • Prepare financially viable product proposals for internal and executive approval
  • Research the competitive landscape to position products and brand effectively, uncovering both large scale and niche opportunities
  • Study market and customer segments, including characteristics, buyer profiles, and trends
  • Ideate and implement product marketing and brand campaigns with marketing managers, copywriters, and designers to maximize frontlist and backlist curriculum sales
  • Partner with the team to optimize web sales through email automation, category callouts, and cross-promotional messaging

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Five years of product marketing experience, including managing a product line, brand, or portfolio
  • Experience building marketing plans, forecasts, or budgets in Excel
  • Core abilities in business writing, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of and affinity with the LCMS

Be Part of Something Bigger

For more than 150 years, CPH has produced trusted resources that help churches, schools, and families grow in faith. As Product Marketing Manager, your work will directly shape how congregations and families experience Christian education, connecting generations of learners to the Gospel through the brand and curriculum products you help bring to market.
