This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
The Creative Manager will lead the social media content team to visually represent the global brand across external communications on social media. This person is responsible for ensuring the look, tone, and essence of the brand across our domestic and international handles. The Creative Manager is also responsible for the development and implementation of high-level creative concepts; managing relationships within and outside of the team. They will be managing a team of creatives and editors.
This individual is a creative thinker committed to telling stories and unrelentless in their ambition to doing it well.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and lead all content creation activities for the social content team consisting of copywriters and editors.
Manage the Social Content team, ensuring leadership, quality of strategic execution and project delivery is provided at all times.
Manage staff, provide ongoing coaching and feedback and assist in use of personal development plans and periodic performance reviews to meet individual staff goals.
Collaborate with production team throughout the entire life cycle of pre-production, production and post production for content shoots
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evolve creative concepts into clear sets of deliverables.
Manage projects to ensure timelines are on track through strong team leadership and project management.
Keep up to date with relevant industry best practices and monitor content activities of competitors
Lead creative reviews and brainstorms to develop inspiring concepts
Devise new and evolving global creative programs, core messaging, and visual concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization
Establish creative direction for all projects and ensure consistent implementation across channels
Ensure consistent brand look and tone across all creative materials and channels
Drive brand evolution through ongoing development and implementation of brand guidelines
Present high-level creative projects to Executive Creative Director and leadership team

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
6+ years experience leading a content team or directly related/transferrable experience
Bachelors degree in English, Marketing, or Advertising
Previous experience managing substantial budgets preferred
Creative minded individual with an ability to conceive, articulate, and produce innovative ideas for new content
Has experience project managing and developing project plans with a demonstrated ability to lead a team to produce high quality content at high frequency
Deep understanding of social networks; previous social experience preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Flexible attitude toward evolving responsibilities and environments
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) and ability to provide feedback to various forms of creative
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 3 years experience managing a creative team
Excellent design, copywriting, editing, proofreading, and project coordination skills.
Meticulous attention to detail; clear and concise communication, commitment to producing quality product; deadline conscious.
Social copywriting experience preferred
Software experience in Mac and Windows applications including Adobe Creative Suites and Microsoft Office.
At least 3 years management experience
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamental, creative writing, typography and limitations of the socialverse; Must have ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and develop graphic solutions.
A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, and creative process.
Ability to lead projects from concept to completion. Apply best practices.
Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
