Creative Managers are professionals who oversee the creative direction and output of a company or team, often within advertising, marketing, or design environments. They lead creative projects from concept to completion, manage creative teams, and ensure that visual, written, and multimedia content aligns with brand strategy and goals. Creative Managers collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other departments to deliver effective and innovative campaigns. They are responsible for maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines, often juggling multiple projects at once.

Job description

Ready to Chase, Close, and Exceed Sales Goals with strong support of a team? Are you a fearless and strategic self-starter who thrives on success? If you love the thrill of the hunt, live for the close, and are exceptional at building new relationships, Then we are looking for you! Adding your talents to our team would make us that much stronger.

From the ground up, this is your opportunity. At Creative Door Services, we’re looking for a Inside Sales pro who doesn’t wait for leads; they create them. If you’re the kind of person who always sees opportunity—and goes after it—then this is the place for you. As Canada’s leading access solutions provider for over 55 years, we’re looking for a Commercial Service Sales professional who’s wired to win. Someone who knows how to uncover needs, build trust, and close business in competitive B2B markets. Sound like you? Then we would love to talk to you!

About the Role
This role is built for a driven salesperson—someone who isn’t afraid to knock on new doors (literally and figuratively) and open up fresh opportunities through outside sales. This customer-centric role will be instrumental in supporting our vision of continued service business growth and will help shape our future in the Calgary market. Reporting to the General Manager and Director of Sales, you’ll be at the forefront of service growth—building strategic relationships, expanding our market presence, and making a significant impact. If you’re passionate about sales, people, and love a challenge, this is your chance to shine!

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll do more than just meet sales targets. You’ll partner with the regional General Manager, Business Development, and the Director of Sales to craft a service growth strategy to drive results in your respective market. Here’s a snapshot of what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Grow Like a Pro: Generate new service revenue across the Calgary, identifying prospects, booking meetings, and closing deals.
  • Be a Relationship Builder: Cultivate lasting relationships with clients—especially those with access solutions products like sectional doors, dock systems, gates, and commercial pedestrian doors and be the service point-person to serve our National Accounts access solutions needs in the respective region.
  • Create Opportunity: Leverage every conversation to upsell services like planned maintenance programs, repairs, and new products.
  • Lead with Insight: Share market intelligence, trends, and customer pain points with your team to help shape smarter strategies.
  • Own the Room: Attend and work the floor at relevant association events. If there’s a room full of potential clients, you’re in it.
  • Collaborate to Win: Work closely with the GM, Director of Sales, and Regional Business Development teams to keep the pipeline full and the revenue flowing.

What Success Looks Like

You’re growing market share, landing new accounts, and turning customers into loyal advocates. You know your market like the back of your hand, and you consistently follow through on opportunities to build meaningful customer relationships.

At Creative Door Services, success is about growing together and achieving remarkable results that push us all forward to achieving our Vision and beyond. Most importantly, you're helping us hit our growth targets by owning your territory and mastering the remarkable with every interaction.

You’ve Got Skills

If someone had to call the person who knows how to turn connections into success, your phone would be ringing.

  • Sales Expertise: Minimum of 3-5 years of B2B Outside sales experience with hands-on, strategic selling success.
  • Natural Networker: You know how to build rapport quickly, and you’re fearless when it comes to cold calling and making new connections.
  • Business-Minded: You get what drives businesses and use that insight to tailor solutions that close deals.
  • Organized & Accountable: You don’t just chase leads, you follow through, follow up, and always close the loop.
  • Versatile Sales Background: Experience across multiple segments and comfortable working with corporate and private sector leaders.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for business.
  • Travel Ready: Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally, as needed.
  • Education: A degree in business is preferred, and professional sales training or equivalent is a plus.

What We Offer

Although it’s true that we’ve implemented tens of thousands of door and access solutions across Western Canada over the past 55 years, we’ve also built a strong, positive work environment for our team to thrive in.

We’re an equal opportunity employer that provides competitive pay, a competitive benefit plan, and fun team-building activities.

And, we also take you and our customers’ safety seriously. We’re a COR-certified workplace that offers comprehensive technical, safety, and product training.

At Creative Door Services, you’ll find more than just a job. You’ll discover a team where your passion for growth is valued and rewarded. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Performance-Based Pay: Competitive salary with bonus potential—your results drive your rewards.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Comprehensive health and dental coverage for full-time team members.
  • Growth Opportunities: Room for career advancement, with clear paths to corporate leadership and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • A Supportive, Innovative Team: Work alongside the best in the business—a team as supportive and innovative as they come, always pushing each other to be remarkable.
