Job description

Ivy Tech Community College seeks a creative, technologically savvy student to support the College's creative services team at Systems Office in Indianapolis. The intern will aid the team in marketing Ivy Tech's message through social platforms.
Remote Work Available: This position is eligible for 100% remote work for qualified candidates located in Indiana.
An internship on Ivy Tech's marketing team is an opportunity for students interested in learning more about communication- and marketing-related careers. Students majoring in or studying journalism, digital media, graphic design, public relations, marketing, communication, visual communication or arts, multimedia, and English are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the College's social media accounts and posts content

  • Brainstorms campaign ideas

  • Fulfills one-off requests from both Systems and campus teams

  • Keep detailed notes in social media campaign calendar pertaining to what is deployed, when, and to which platform

  • Organizes analytics in an easy-to-read and decipherable format

  • Comprehends the overall concept of Ivy Tech, including the brand, customer, product, and student experience goals

    Pay Rate: $15 per hour
