The Role and What You'll Do:

  • Qualifies client requests and program briefs.

  • Develops profit, sourcing, and negotiation strategy.

  • Utilizes technology tools for sourcing, tracking sourcing, and contracted volume.

  • Qualifies vendor responses, proposals, contract process, and Addendums.

  • Acts as point of contact for vendor destination management (DMC) meeting requests.

  • Day to Day client management of program planning and deliverables, alongside the Client Services team.

  • Works closely with Client Services, Creative, Hospitality, and Production dept's on vendor negotiations, vendor performance, and unique programming ideas as they pertain to Hospitality programs.

  • Maintains initiative-taking, a positive attitude, and an open line of communication with client and account teams to ensure understanding of deliverable timelines and roles and responsibilities.

  • Responsible for accurate program forecasting and updating business management system with current financials up until the file is turned over to operations.

  • Assist the Client Services team in planning site inspection materials.

  • As needed, arrange brainstorm and creative sessions for destination and programming ideation.

  • Maintain final electronic files through the process as required by company standard operating procedures.

  • Prepare and conduct turnover meetings to the assigned Client Services Team.

  • Develop and maintain excellent and professional working relationships with industry vendors and clients.

  • Look to develop workflow that will help strengthen the cohesiveness between other departments.

  • High-level of accuracy and diligence.

  • Assist with RFPs, RFIs, presentation deliverables, and special projects as assigned.

You Have These:

  • Knowledge of MICE Industry

  • Minimum of 3 + years' experience in planning, sourcing, and designing with a hotel, convention center, DMC, Production Company, or 3rd Party Agency

  • Strong Computer Skills: Excel, Word and power point

  • Initiative-taker, motivated, and resourceful team player

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum:

$67,500 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:
