Job description

Pride Health is hiring an Art Director to support our client’s medical facility in Hybrid. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position Overview:

  • Optum’s Creative Partners team is seeking an experienced Art Director & Designer hybrid to lead concept-driven, visually compelling creative work. This role is responsible for translating strategic marketing objectives into high-impact creative across multiple channels. The ideal candidate brings strong conceptual thinking, hands-on execution, and the ability to deliver polished work from ideation through production.

Specific Duties:

  • Concept and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, video, and experiential channels
  • Translate creative briefs and strategic inputs into compelling visual ideas
  • Deliver high-quality design work with attention to detail and brand consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners from concept through final production
  • Present creative concepts clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders
  • Incorporate feedback and refine work to meet creative and business objectives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
  • Contribute to creative best practices and workflow improvements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in art direction and graphic design
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution across multiple channels
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Experience developing integrated campaigns (digital, print, social, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and visual systems
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills


Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries
  • Agency and/or in-house creative team experience
  • Motion design or video experience
  • Familiarity with digital performance marketing
  • Experience working in large, matrixed organizations
  • Exposure to project management tools (e.g., Workfront)

Additional Information:

  • Location: Remote/ Hybrid (11000 Optum CirEden Prairie, MN 55344)
  • Job Type: 4+ month contract to hire
  • Schedule: - Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Office Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Pay Range: $30-$35/hr. on W2 without benefits
