Job Description
We're looking for Sr. Art Director who will work to understand our client's objectives; help shape the creative approach and work with the design team in overseeing the creative vision and execution of projects.
This is a hybrid role, requiring four days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll lead the concept, design and execution of visual solutions for integrated, cross-channel initiatives including large Web initiatives, online advertising, social media, print and digital marketing. Your exceptional design skills and conceptual powers will be put to use daily as you assist the Creative Director in leading a creative team to develop world-class work for a Fortune 10 company. This role is ideal for someone who can design, concept and implement at a high-level while also guiding other art directors and designers to ensure every project meets the highest creative standard. Day to day, your role will include:
  • Creating powerful, design solutions for each project, partnering with copywriters to ensure copy and visual direction work cohesively to deliver compelling content.
  • Develops storyboards to guide visuals, motion design, audio, sound design, and overall concept, shaping ideas into high-quality videos or animations.
  • Partners with production teams to support photo and video shoots, events, presentations, contributing across pre-production planning, deliverable creation, and post-production reviews.
  • Balance multiple projects in an agile work environment while inspiring & motivating both your creative teammates and your clients.
  • Supports larger creative team in brainstorming sessions and ideation.
  • Completes research projects and other day-to-day requests.
  • Assists in asset creation and delivers work they is proud of.
  • Has a general knowledge of technology, user interface and web design standards.
  • Stays current on latest industry, social, design and branding trends.
  • Maintains a high standard for design on all creative deliverables.
  • Helps develop creative content for digital, social, and traditional media platforms.
  • Brings strategic creative thinking and fresh ideas that elevate the work while working within established brand guidelines.
  • Presents work to clients with clarity and confidence, effectively explaining creative rationales while advocating for strong design solutions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, or Advertising/Portfolio school
  • 5-7 years experience in an advertising or marketing agency preferred
  • Experience creating videos while collaborating with motion and video editors.
  • An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates both art direction craft and conceptual thinking.
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Being a standout colleague, and ability to collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • A creative attitude with a passion for storytelling and connecting with audiences.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Experience engaging B2G or investor audiences is a plus!

Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 - USD $111,100.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
