Job description

Who We Are
Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.
To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures-and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.
What You'll Do
As a Regional Senior Creative Manager in BCG's Design Studios team, you'll be a driving force behind the delivery of high-quality, impactful, and multidisciplinary creative work across your region. You'll help shape the creative vision, lead project excellence, and grow the design culture - guiding teams across presentation, digital, video, editorial, and experience design.
You'll collaborate closely with the Regional Creative Director, Creative Managers, and studio leadership to translate business goals into creative direction, oversee day-to-day creative operations, and ensure the delivery of consistent design excellence. You'll also play a vital role in mentoring talent, streamlining workflows, and connecting creative disciplines to strategic consulting needs.
You will also collaborate with the regional Strategy team to develop and support go-to-market initiatives and campaigns. A key part of your role will involve building relationships with local consulting teams, promoting Design Studios' offerings, and ensuring client satisfaction through impactful, aligned creative solutions.
This is a pivotal role for a seasoned creative leader who can guide teams, deliver work, and champion creativity within a regional business context.
You're good at
Creative and Operational Leadership
  • Leading multidisciplinary creative teams across workstreams and formats, ensuring high-quality, aligned, and on-brand output
  • Reviewing, refining, and reinforcing creative standards from first draft to final delivery, across all media

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partnering with Creative Directors, Project Leads, and consulting teams to understand business context and translate it into creative solutions
  • Partnering with Creative Managers from across DS offices on cross-geo projects to drive quality and innovation
  • Collaborating with the Operations team to optimize resourcing, workflows, and team structure
  • Working with the Strategy team to support go-to-market initiatives and deliver strategic and high-impact creative solutions

Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Building strong working relationships with internal clients (consulting teams) - understanding their needs, anticipating challenges, and positioning creative solutions that elevate outcomes
  • Engaging effectively with internal stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team, to ensure creative work supports broader business goals
  • Managing expectations, facilitating open feedback loops, and ensuring client satisfaction with Design Studios' creative services

Team Development and Mentorship
  • Coaching and guiding senior creatives and team leads, helping them grow into creative leaders and build high-performing teams
  • Fostering a positive, collaborative culture that values curiosity, learning, and shared ownership

Creative Problem Solving
  • Bringing new ideas, technologies (including GenAI), and frameworks to challenge conventional thinking and inspire the team

Performance & Quality Monitoring
  • Monitoring KPIs and creative quality standards, evolving practices based on feedback and performance insights

What You'll Bring
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in a creative leadership role - within an agency, in-house design team, service design firm, or similar environment
  • A bachelor's degree in design, visual communication, web/digital design, or a related creative field (design school background preferred)
  • A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual design, visual storytelling, and cross-format fluency
  • Experience building team culture, mentoring hybrid and specialist designers, and leading across multiple geographies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills - confident in influencing direction and presenting creative vision
  • Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools, creative automation platforms, and design ops systems
  • A mindset that blends creativity, business understanding, and operational leadership
  • Experience working in matrixed, global, or fast-paced business environments

Who You'll Work With
We are Design Studios, an in-house creative agency comprised of pioneering professionals creating premium designs. We are a global, multi-disciplinary team of design strategists, creative leaders, and digital experts. We craft powerful design stories for BCG, which seeks to deliver inspiring solutions to our clients' challenges. As part of BCG, Design Studios partners with consultants and clients to shape our brand by elevating our work through the power of design. We offer guidance and orientation through a strategic and audience-centric approach, and apply design, technology, and media solutions to take BCG's achievements to the next level.
As bold design leaders, we are fresh, punchy, and playful, while committed to delivering premium, business excellence. We recognize how to transform complex ideas into compelling visual experiences, and how to activate new commercial opportunities at the intersection of business and design. We value innovation, co-creation, inspiration, and the business impact that design achieves. We believe in the art of the possible and applying creative solutions to business challenges. We believe we can advance the world by conquering its complexity through a universal, human language - design.
